The Team Behind One Piece Live-Action is Growing Stronger
All eyes are now on the second season of One Piece as it promises to bring some major characters to life. Recently, Netflix confirmed that Joe Manganiello has joined the cast of One Piece, portraying the character Crocodile.
Thanks to some fan art, we can now envision how Manganiello might look in the role of the dangerous villain from One Piece.
The artwork comes from the X (Twitter) account K164, who has skillfully edited images to bring Manganiello to life in One Piece Live-Action. The image clearly shows how the True Blood star appears as he faces off against the Straw Hat Pirates, equipped with a hook prosthetic and an outfit that closely resembles the original character.
After seeing the images illustrated by K164, it’s undeniable that this Hollywood star fits the character of Crocodile perfectly. Season 2 will kick off in Loguetown, meaning the Straw Hat Pirates will first encounter Manganiello as Mr. 0. This alias existed when Crocodile was the leader of Baroque Works, a mysterious criminal organization with influence throughout Arabasta.
Manganiello has acknowledged that he will soon be heading to the film set to begin shooting. Meanwhile, many cast members have arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, to film the second season of Netflix’s One Piece. Not only is the main cast returning from season one, but there are also several new actors joining.
In addition to Manganiello’s portrayal of Crocodile, K164 has brilliantly reimagined many other characters from One Piece Live-Action with their respective actors. Check them out below:
