Bleach introduces the most terrifying Bankai ever in anime

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has introduced Kurotsuchi's new Bankai, and this is the most crude Bankai in the series so far.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Season 3 – The Conflict has started airing this fall, setting the stage for the final battle against Yhwach and the Sternritter. The anime is currently in the midst of the ultimate fight between Soul Reapers and Quincies. The latest episode has introduced the most horrific Bankai ever seen.

Bleach has previously showcased the powerful techniques that Mayuri Kurotsuchi could perform, but his final battle with the Sternritter has turned out to be the most exciting fight yet.

After witnessing what Pernida Parnkgjas is capable of in the battle against Kenpachi, Kurotsuchi fights to the extent of unveiling a new Bankai called Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō: Makai Fukuin Shōtai. This Bankai releases a baby-like creature born from Kurotsuchi’s previous Bankai, specifically designed to combat a particular opponent.

Bleach Anime Unveils Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s New Bankai

As Kurotsuchi begins his battle against the mysterious Quincy, he discovers that Pernida’s abilities include sending his nerves into people to control their movements. This realization hits him when he observes how the Quincy utilizes their nervous system to exert mental pressure. Things escalate when Pernida reveals himself to be the missing left hand of the Soul King, which makes sense since we have previously seen the right hand of the Soul King in action.

Here, Mayuri Kurotsuchi unleashes his new Bankai, revealing that it is vastly different from his old Bankai. Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō: Makai Fukuin Shōtai is revealed to be a giant creature that appears to be pregnant, about to give birth to a “true new Bankai.” This new Bankai is a gigantic, wet child that continuously screams, which truly fits a bizarre scientist like Kurotsuchi, as his Bankai cries out in pain.

How will Kurotsuchi’s great battle unfold?

Kurotsuchi’s new Bankai is not significantly affected by Pernida’s attack on its veins, as it is enveloped in multiple layers of veins on its exterior. As Kurotsuchi explains, it feels nothing but pain but cannot be possessed or controlled.

Consequently, this new Bankai quickly engulfs Pernida and its copies, suggesting that the battle may soon come to an end. However, this is not truly the conclusion of the overall conflict, as there are still many tricks and twists to come in the upcoming episodes of the anime.
