Vietnam’s League of Legends Team at the Asian Esports Games 2024
Recently, the national team of Vietnam participated in the Asian Esports Games 2024 (AEG). This is a large-scale international esports event organized by the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF). This year, the tournament saw the participation of 179 teams from 29 countries and regions.
In the League of Legends category, the Vietnamese teams were highly rated and ranked among the top contenders, showcasing strong skills and impressive achievements. Not only did our team perform well, but they also reached the finals, competing against the host team from Thailand.
Vietnam’s League of Legends Team Faces Defeat
At the Asian Esports Games 2024, the Vietnamese and Thai teams were not the strongest competitors. However, considering the circumstances, the matchups were still competitive, as both teams had extensive experience in international tournaments and had faced each other multiple times before. Therefore, the level of competition in this match was not inferior to that of major finals like APL, AIC, etc.
As a result, few dared to believe that the Vietnamese League of Legends team would secure a clear victory at this high-stakes level. In fact, the Thai team maintained their strong momentum and ultimately won the match with a score of 4-1.
However, this does not mean that the Vietnamese team played poorly at all. The matches displayed a high level of skill and tension. It’s possible that we just lacked a bit of luck.
With hopes of achieving a medal at the Asian Esports Games 2024, the Vietnamese League of Legends team will strive to improve, aiming to perform better in upcoming events.
