Two Blue Vortex explains Boruto’s new cool technique

The son of the Seventh Hokage has some unusual jutsu in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

While the anime Boruto remains in a state of uncertainty, with Studio Pierrot working on the anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, the manga Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues to follow the journey of the Seventh Hokage’s son.

Recently, Chapter 16 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex was released, providing readers with a deeper understanding of Boruto and the world around him.

After a significant time skip, everything is turned upside down; Boruto suddenly finds himself accused of murdering Naruto and Hinata, becoming a rogue ninja. All of this chaos is a result of Eida using her Senrigan ability to alter reality and brainwash the world. Fortunately, Boruto still has an ally supporting him in Kashin Koji, a clone of Jiraiya.

As Two Blue Vortex begins, Boruto demonstrates that he has changed significantly. After training with Kashin Koji during the time skip, Boruto has learned new techniques, making him a formidable force not only against Code but also against his former teammates.

In a flashback scene between Kashin Koji and Boruto in the latest chapter, it is explained how Boruto has mastered the Flying Raijin Jutsu.

Kashin Koji elaborated on Naruto’s son’s new technique. It turns out that Boruto unintentionally created his version of the Flying Raijin Jutsu while trying to make Space-Time Ninjutsu reproducible. Interestingly, Boruto was unaware that he had accidentally named it after the technique created by his grandfather, Namikaze Minato.

When using this ninjutsu, Boruto can instantly teleport himself or others anywhere.

By marking metal objects with his chakra to sense them, Boruto has developed it into a ninjutsu that allows him to move freely and instantly to any location he desires.

Explaining the Flying Raijin Jutsu

Similar to how Code uses his unique teleportation ability by leaving traces on one or more specific objects and then teleporting to these marked locations, Boruto can now teleport to the metal objects he has marked with his chakra.

Unfortunately, this technique of Boruto has a drawback.

According to Kashin Koji, while Boruto can accurately teleport over short distances, moving to distant locations proves to be quite challenging due to the nature of ninja equipment. To overcome this, Boruto has decided to utilize various types of ninja tools to aid in his teleportation.

In addition to delving deeper into Boruto’s new technique, the latest chapter sets up several key aspects for the future of the shonen series. The current Hokage, Shikamaru, had a secret discussion with one of Koji’s toads and received some necessary requests.

Kashin Koji requested that the leader of Konoha send Team 7, which includes Konohamaru, Sarada, and Mitsuki, to the Sand Village, as two Divine Trees, Matsuri and Ryu, are set to attack this location. Clearly, Two Blue Vortex is sowing the seeds for a major confrontation in the near future.
