Thunder Storm, Gundam version of Captain America, cowboy Shang-Chi, and a series of interesting characters landing in the MCU in the What If…? season 3 trailer.

Marvel Studios is bringing an extremely lavish “trailer feast” for fans. After Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts , they recently revealed the first trailer for season 3 of What If…? – one of the animated series beloved by many audiences from the studio. This will also be the final season of What If…? as the Multiverse Saga storyline is gradually coming to an end.

First aired in 2021, What If…? is a collection of special stories within the vast multiverse, revealing events that have never occurred in the main timeline of the MCU (Earth-616). This series has helped add depth to the Marvel Studios cinematic universe, while also introducing many interesting characters with potential for exploration in live-action projects, such as Captain Carter or Kahhori.

Season 3 of What If…? will continue this tradition. The trailer above has revealed several notable faces such as the mutant Storm as the female God of Thunder, the Gundam version of Captain America, and cowboy Shang-Chi. Previously, Marvel Studios confirmed that characters to be explored in this season include Sam Wilson/Captain America, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Bruce Banner/Hulk, Moon Knight, The Red Guardian, Captain Peggy Carter, and Agatha Harkness.

Like the previous two seasons, What If…? season 3 will conclude with a battle on a multiverse scale. Captain Carter is sure to return to fight alongside The Watcher, especially since their partnership has reached new heights at the end of season 2. The trailer above has revealed images of 3 other Watchers with a threat to end Uatu the Watcher’s multiverse story.

What If…? season 3 will consist of 8 episodes and will premiere on December 22 this year.
