As the year comes to a close, especially right before Black Friday, Steam is witnessing impressive sales events aimed at gamers.
Publishers are also working hard to launch attractive promotions. A notable example is Koei Tecmo.
Specifically, Koei Tecmo is currently running a major sale for the Nioh series and the game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
The discount for Nioh: Complete Edition reaches up to 77%, meaning that gamers only need to spend over 200,000 VND to own this top-tier Soulslike blockbuster. Similarly, the full version of Nioh 2 is discounted by 45%, now costing around 500,000 VND. Finally, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available at a 35% discount. It’s important to note that these are the lowest prices in the history of all three games on Steam.
More importantly, the quality of these games is exceptional. Both Nioh games have received very high ratings, with an average score of 85, while positive recommendations from gamers reach up to 92%. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has slightly lower ratings due to its limitations in storytelling; however, it is undoubtedly the most appealing title among the three for newcomers to Soulslike games or those looking for games with a similar style to Black Myth: Wukong. This largely stems from its relatively accessible introduction to the genre.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is also the only game in the current sale that has a playable demo available on Steam. The ongoing sales are part of Koei Tecmo’s promotional campaign, which will end on November 28th.
