Best Game 2024 Nominees List by IGN
Recently, the renowned global magazine IGN announced the nominees for its annual game awards. Just before the “super award” The Game Awards concluded, IGN’s nominees list continued to leave the gaming community in shock and excitement.
According to reports, the category getting the most attention is Best Game 2024, where IGN has confirmed several standout titles. Among the 14 games listed, aside from the blockbuster hits widely recognized, there is also Infinity Nikki – a product that just launched at the beginning of December.
This is the only Gacha game in the above list. Additionally, there are the appearances of The Rise of the Golden Idol and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. All three of these games debuted less than a month ago (The Rise of the Golden Idol being 32 days old), raising many eyebrows regarding the criteria for the nominations in IGN’s awards this year.

Previously, IGN has also been involved in numerous controversies regarding its reviews and “special” viewpoints. Even so, the inclusion of three relatively “young” titles in the Best Game 2024 nominees list has still sparked significant surprise.
It should be noted that IGN’s “Best of” award series is evaluated and selected based on the opinions of the management team and votes from the critics. Therefore, the nature of the awards is not overly specialized but rather reflects the state of the fanbase and the impact that the nominees have within the community.
