TFT Season 13: Sweeping All Opponents with Violet – The Iron Fist Fighter with Extremely “Broken” Damage

Violet is proving to be extremely strong in TFT Season 13 despite having a modest price of only 1 gold.

Meta TFT Season 13 Supports the Rise of Violet

After TFT Season 13 officially launched (especially after patch 14.23b), the game’s meta is shifting towards a “Fast 8” playstyle with powerful 4-cost champions. This change allows “Hyper roll” strategies utilizing 1-cost champions to gain traction as they can capitalize on opponents hoarding resources to snowball the game. A prime example of this is the composition featuring Violet – Iron Fist Fighter, known for its consistent damage output and exceptional tanking ability in team fights.

Violet is making a strong comeback after patch 14.23b

Furthermore, in the recent patch 14.23b, Violet received significant buffs to its base damage and maximum energy. This enhancement allows Violet to deal much more effective damage in the early to mid-game stages. Combined with the Family trait’s damage reduction buff, Violet becomes even more resilient, surviving heavy damage from enemy champions when equipped with Fighter-type items.

Building the Violet – Iron Fist Fighter Composition in TFT Season 13

During rounds with monsters, if Violet, Darius, and Draven appear frequently, players should consider building this composition. Additionally, Powder and Vander are valuable units to purchase to activate the 3 Family trait when players reach level 5. Moreover, Vander and Darius also serve as strong tanks during this stage, ensuring the team’s survivability.

The starting composition that players should aim for

Similar to other 1-cost champion reroll compositions, players will refrain from purchasing experience early in the game. Instead, they will focus on rerolling during levels 4-5 to upgrade Violet, Draven, and possibly Darius to 3 stars. After this, players can resume purchasing experience and add units like Gangplank and Urgot mid-game to activate the 4 Iron Fist Fighters trait.

In the late game, players will have numerous options to enhance their composition with 4-5 cost champions. Ekko is a valuable addition if players have a surplus of magic items equipped to Powder. Additionally, Sevika or Vi can also be strong units at this stage if players acquire the Iron Fist Fighter emblem and activate the 6-unit threshold at level 8.

Some Tips for Building the Composition

For Violet’s items, players should aim for Fighter-type items such as Bloodthirster, Sterak’s Claw, and Giant Slayer. Meanwhile, Draven will utilize items from the Wooden Bow, such as Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Green Bow. Additionally, strong support augments for the reroll strategy, such as Lucky Ticket and Pandora’s Bench, are excellent options to help players quickly upgrade their carries to 3 stars.
