Tristana’s Brawler Build in TFT Set 13
Although the Brawler build is considered quite weak, it is currently facing significant operational challenges in TFT Set 13. Essentially, this build requires continuous stacking with high attack speed to maximize damage output. However, the Brawler units themselves lack the ability to naturally increase their attack speed, making it quite difficult to utilize this build effectively. This dependency forces the Brawler composition to rely heavily on items like Guinsoo’s Rageblade and other damage-enhancing items to deal significant damage.
With the recent patch 14.24 release, Riot has addressed the aforementioned issues by enhancing Tristana’s attack speed. Moreover, the base stats for level 4 Brawlers have also been increased, allowing Tristana to have more opportunities to accumulate damage output. Combined with nerfs to the Surveillance trait, the Brawler composition, especially Tristana, is likely to cause significantly more damage in upcoming patches.
Brawler’s Static Composition in TFT Set 13
In the current patch, Brawler’s static composition is generally not favored by players when only using up to level 2 units. The reason for this is that the damage output and survivability of these units at levels 1-2 are not robust enough to accumulate significant damage, especially when considering the synergy between Brawler units. However, there will be major changes in patch 14.24 as Riot buffs this composition significantly, enhancing their overall effectiveness in battle.
Specifically, the health of level 4 Brawlers has been increased from 50 to 60, while their damage output has also risen from 350 to 400. Additionally, Nocturne and Blitzcrank have received significant adjustments that enhance their abilities and help improve their damage output, making them much more substantial than before. Riot Games appears to be directing the Brawler composition towards a reroll strategy, where players can maximize their effectiveness by accumulating 2-3 units to create a snowball effect leading to victory.
Champions of the Set in TFT Set 13
Designed as an upgraded version of the Warlord from Set 12, the Champions have shown significant potential in the early stages of TFT Set 13. The reason for this is that the base stats of these units are not very strong in level 1-2, making it challenging to accumulate damage as they progress. Moreover, utilizing 4 or 6 Champions might not yield many advantages compared to players who find more effective playstyles like rerolling and snowballing in the initial levels. It is notable that Ambessa still lacks considerable strength in patch 14.23, impacting the Champions’ ability to exert pressure late in the game.
Currently, in patch 14.24, this composition has been significantly buffed as Riot enhances the Brawler’s health and damage output. Furthermore, Ambessa has also received crucial buffs to its base stats and damage capabilities. This improvement allows for more effective Brawler compositions to thrive, making it easier for players to gain an advantage in terms of resources throughout the match.
