The Power of Family in TFT Season 13 is Misunderstood
After the TFT World Championship Season 12 concluded, information about Season 13 of “teamfight tactics” was announced, and the Family tribe received a lot of attention. The reason is quite understandable as this tribe features very popular characters from the series Arcane (the theme of TFT Season 13) such as Violet, Powder, and Vander. Moreover, the effect of the 5 Family threshold allows players to perform “heists” after each round. As a result, many players believe that Family will be a different version of Thieves or Fortune God from the past, with a “cheating” resource playstyle.
Moving into the mid-game phase, players should aim to reach level 6 and continue rerolling to upgrade Vander to 3 stars. If you can buy multiple Camille, she is also an extremely strong and worthwhile investment in the mid-game. Additionally, Scar (a 3-cost champion with the Surveillance system) will be an excellent addition to help the lineup become more resilient and provide extremely useful crowd control.
Some Notes on Building the Lineup
For Powder’s equipment, the Shojin Spear is a must-have item to increase the frequency of this unit’s skill casting. Items that boost AP such as Sorcerer’s Hat, Crystal Gauntlet, and Celestial Staff… will be assembled by players in the remaining 2 item slots depending on the match situation. For Camille, Bloodthirster and Giant Slayer will be the top choices for this unit. Additionally, the Cloak of Night is also an extremely good item to help Camille survive and dodge damage in combat.
