Tristana’s Rise – The Cannon of TFT Set 13
In the current meta of TFT Set 13, the strategy of leveling up and gaining experience quickly is gaining significant popularity. According to statistics from the specialized site Metatft.com, 6 out of 7 strong compositions are ranked S (very strong), all utilizing the “Fast 8” strategy with 4-star champions at 2 stars. This has inadvertently assisted a unit like Tristana in growing stronger over time.
The reason why the “Fast 8” compositions often do not perform well in the mid-game is due to the lack of strong 3-star champions. Capitalizing on this, Tristana can easily create an explosive damage output when paired with items that enhance critical damage, especially against 4-star champions towards the late game. Notably, Tristana can be combined with 2 other champions such as Rell and Leona, both of whom are also significantly buffed during rerolling. Therefore, according to evaluations from high-ranking players in the LPL, Tristana has solidified her place in the current meta of TFT Set 13.
Building the Tristana – The Cannon Composition in TFT Set 13
One of the key indicators for constructing this composition is to acquire Tristana early in the game. When this happens, players should look to combine her with other 1-star champions and aim to upgrade them to 2 stars, such as Irelia, Singed, or Trundle. These champions will help maintain stability on the board, allowing Tristana to freely deal damage and accumulate critical health points.
When reaching level 6, players are advised to start rerolling to upgrade Tristana to 3 stars as fast as possible. Additionally, completing the 4 Vanguard trait and adding Urgot is also a key strategy during this phase to ensure the team remains robust. In cases where players cannot find a quick 2-star Urgot, they should pivot towards Ezreal and integrate another unit from the Mystic trait at level 7 to enhance damage output.
After achieving the target of 3-star Tristana, players need to quickly level up to 8 to finalize their composition. At this point, Corki and Illaoi will serve as high-quality additions to bolster the team. It is important to note that Corki’s ability to deal damage can bypass enemy defenses, enhancing Tristana’s effectiveness against high-damage threats in the late game.
Key Considerations for Building the Composition
Since this composition requires a lot of rerolling, players should prioritize certain Tech Traits to assist during the early and mid-game phases. Traits like Trade Sector, Rejuvenation, and Star Guardian are excellent choices that synergize well with this composition. Additionally, Tristana will need to utilize items like Infinity Edge, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, and Bloodthirster to optimize her damage output while maximizing her critical hit potential.
