N* fake me is scamming using my name, I’m worried about being scammed for a long time.” This incident highlighted the need for vigilance in online interactions.
On the day of the scam, Mercury was overwhelmed as the impersonator was using her image. She expressed her frustrations on social media: “I’ve been gaming for 16 hours and can’t catch a break…” – Mercury even pinned a post on her profile to alert her followers about the situation.
Sharing this information with the community has provided her with support and assistance, helping her to mitigate the impact on her personal image.
This is not the first time Mercury Nguyen has dealt with impersonation issues.
Moreover, the impersonator was found returning to the main account, creating a chaotic situation that added to her distress. Mercury couldn’t contain her anger and vented: “What is this fake mess on stream? Just an absolute disgrace, I’ve warned everyone on my social media before. *** is it just casual?”
