In a recent streaming session, Nắng, a well-known streamer popular among the youth, shared her inspiring journey of overcoming cancer. Remarkably, she faced this battle not once, but twice within a span of just over a decade.
Facing the Diagnosis
Nắng revealed that the first signs of her illness appeared during her childhood. However, she overlooked the symptoms due to her studies and only sought medical attention after her exams. It wasn’t until her second visit to the doctor that she learned she had bone cancer.
“My mom was crying while telling my dad. […] After my uncle informed my grandmother, she cried too. I sat in the bathroom crying, not knowing what was wrong with me. Later, I was admitted to K Quán Sứ Hospital and found out I had primary malignant bone cancer (osteosarcoma). Fortunately, it was only stage 2 and still treatable,” Nắng shared.
After overcoming her first battle with cancer, she was devastated to discover a recurrence over a decade later. “After a CT scan and biopsy, I thought no one gets cancer twice in their lifetime. […] But one gloomy day, I opened the app to check the results, and the words ‘secondary tumor in the lung’ hit me hard,” Nắng recounted.

As a beautiful and optimistic streamer, Nắng has garnered a significant following. However, her journey has also led her to share poignant insights that resonate deeply with many.
In a TikTok clip posted on November 3rd, Nắng posed a thought-provoking question: “If we were together and something happened to the other person, what would you do?” She responded to a comment stating, “Anyone who gets to be with Nắng is very lucky.”
Nắng also expressed, “While some may see me as unlucky, I consider myself fortunate for discovering my illness early.” Notably, when she was diagnosed, her primary concern was whether she could meet her work KPIs.
“Overall, I’m the most optimistic person in my house. I researched my illness online and tried to encourage my family,” Nắng reflected on her ongoing battle with the disease.
