HLE Announces Suspension of Zeus, Suspected Link to T1
There’s only a short time left until the LCK Awards 2024, one of the most anticipated annual events in the League of Legends community in Korea. The main reason for this excitement is the presence of T1 – the League of Legends team with the largest fanbase globally, and this award has been a source of considerable debate for a long time.
It is reported that the presence of Zeus will be a focal point as all T1 members are expected to attend the LCK Awards 2024 together. However, recently, HLE announced that Zeus will continue to be absent from this event. Previously, Zeus did not participate in the KeSPA Cup, and the reason was that he had to fulfill his military obligations.
The League of Legends Community is Uncertain About ‘Hidden Agendas’ Related to T1 – Zeus Drama
As mentioned earlier, the LCK Awards 2024 are set to take place soon, and Zeus’s absence is already a topic of discussion. Many opinions have emerged regarding HLE’s desire to “cool down” the drama surrounding this situation. If Zeus were to attend alongside other T1 members, it would undoubtedly stir up considerable debate within the League of Legends community.
Moreover, although Faker has gained a reputation for being diplomatic, it’s important to note that he himself doesn’t seem to have any intention of taking a decisive stance on the matter concerning his fellow teammates. As a professional player, Faker has never been one to comment on sensitive issues openly. And if Faker has not publicly supported Zeus, no one knows what Oner, Gumayusi, or Keria might think.
Therefore, Zeus’s absence from the team can not only cause turmoil within the community but may also create negative pressure on him personally. In the current context, HLE’s stance on their team’s composition is entirely justifiable, especially when the situation is heating up in recent days.
