Finally, Doran has to suffer “bad luck” when joining T1

The issues for T1 still remain, and Doran is the next "victim" when donning the champion's jersey of the 2024 World Championship.

Doran Faces Challenges After Joining T1

Doran’s recent transition to T1 not only ties into the ongoing transfer drama surrounding Zeus but has also brought him new troubles as a member of the 2024 World Champions. Recently, some users have noticed that Doran has encountered DDoS issues during his rank matches. Whenever Doran attempts to find a game, his teammates in the queue frequently lose connection.

Doran Faces Challenges After Joining T1

It’s worth noting that this is not the first time DDoS issues have been associated with T1. According to Faker and T1’s COO, DDoS problems began appearing in late 2023. Despite their efforts, T1 has been unable to completely resolve these issues. They reported the situation to Riot and the LCK organizing committee, but no effective solutions have been found, leaving T1 to “live with the flood” since the beginning of 2024.

Moreover, it’s not just T1 in League of Legends that has been a “victim” of DDoS attacks; other esports teams under the T1 banner have faced similar fates. Now, Doran understands the plight of those who have previously been his rivals.

"Doran is playing solo rank but his teammates suddenly lose connection… not just one, but many people are continuously disconnected, so Doran cannot play ranked games."
A Difficult Future Awaits T1 in 2025

Unlike Zeus, who had at least two years to “acclimate” to T1 before the DDoS issues arose, Doran is entirely new to the team. His previous competitive experiences with T1 players were limited to casual showmatches. Therefore, he is trying to make the most of the break to play ranked games, only to encounter this challenging problem.

DDoS Issues Persist with T1 Since Late 2023

This situation is likely to impact the preparation process for both T1 and Doran for the new season. It remains unclear how T1 will address this ongoing issue, but the recurrence of DDoS attacks may signal a very challenging season ahead for T1 in 2025.
