In the latest installment of Dragon Ball Daima, apart from introducing the new evil wizard, Akira Toriyama and Toei Animation have confirmed that the original Namekian warriors are indeed villains before they arrive on the planet Namek.
With the second episode of the anime, fans can witness the Z Warriors struggling with a “mini” version of the main villain as they try to navigate their new circumstances. In a shocking moment, the Dragon God and the new Namekian warriors created a significant shift in the narrative.
For a considerable time, the Dragon God remained on the left side, only granting one wish when summoned. When Dragon Ball Z premiered, viewers were introduced to Porunga, the mighty dragon of Namek. Porunga not only differs significantly from Shenron but also has unique abilities.
Porunga can grant three wishes at a time, while Shenron can only grant one. When Dende became the guardian of the Earth, he collaborated with Piccolo, and the new Namekian warriors were created, adhering to their own set of rules in Dragon Ball Daima.
The New Namekian Warriors
In the latest episode of the Dragon Ball anime, King Gomah, the evil wizard, has decided to execute a wish that transforms Goku and his friends into younger versions of themselves. After Gomah fulfills his wish, Shenron declares that he will leave, which means they can no longer revert to their original forms, complicating their situation even further.
According to the interpretation of the Dragon God, Shenron can only grant one wish for “new customers,” while allowing returning customers to have three wishes. This implies that Gomah only has the opportunity to transform the Z Warriors into children and cannot receive the “Evil Third Eye” wish.
This new stance from the Dragon God will certainly benefit the Z Warriors.
The Strength of Neva, the Namekian
In the premiere of Dragon Ball Daima, viewers are introduced to Neva, a strong elder Namekian who possesses formidable powers but has become a recluse, making him less of a threat.
However, Neva’s abilities cannot be continuously executed at the left side of the Earth, even though he can perform such feats on the evil wizard’s territory.
Another important detail regarding the Namekian warriors also appears in the second episode when Piccolo explains the reason behind the warrior and dragon distinctions (the Namekians are divided into these two categories) and their departure from the Demon Realm.
At the time Piccolo was born, the migration was completed, and he was not witnessed. The Namekian people have left because they “do not enjoy being ruled.” Since the Demon Realm is a place filled with many evil forces, the Namekians seeking refuge are unlikely to find a new home.
Finally, the closing moments of the second episode introduce us to Glorio, a resident of the Demon Realm who came to assist Goku and the Supreme Kai in defeating Gomah. It seems Glorio has reported the dire conditions of the Z Warriors while delivering secret information, which will likely be revealed in due time.
Since Glorio’s ship can only hold three people, Goku and the Supreme Kai have boarded, leaving the others behind. However, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Bulma will join the remaining trio after a few days, as Bulma needs time to repair the Supreme Kai’s ship.
