Faker’s Injury is Far from Simple
Recent documentary clips from T1 and revelations from Faker himself have made it clear that his injury is severe. It is the result of long hours of training and competing in a harsh environment. Faker has a habit of only resting his hand on the mouse while keeping his wrist suspended to achieve the best reflexes.
However, recent images analyzed by fans reveal that Faker’s injury is beyond imagination. In one photo, his right hand appears severely deformed. The wrist bone is bent downward, and the joint is almost protruding. Some assessments suggest that Faker is suffering from severe varicose veins.
Even while holding the FMVP trophy, Faker’s right arm lacks the usual strength. This is because he is right-handed but is holding a heavy object (the trophy) with his left hand. When Faker raises his hand for a photo, it is clear that his wrist joint is prominently visible.
Fans Offer “Tough but Sincere” Advice to Faker
Clearly, the longer Faker continues to compete, the more severe his injury will become. “He should take a break. No one can surpass Faker now or in the future. Even if this game lasts another 20 years, I don’t think anyone can. I know no one wants to hear this, but Faker should rest,” commented one fan.
However, Faker himself has repeatedly affirmed this year that he will continue to contribute. Therefore, the likelihood of Faker taking a break before 2025 is almost nonexistent. Additionally, he has one more year on his contract with T1, and it may be after the end of the 2025 season that he considers his future options.
At this moment, fans may be very worried about Faker, but they must also accept his choice and hope that T1 will take good care of their “Demon King.”
