Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War has brought fans of the anime a new series of episodes that are particularly intriguing in the third part. As Yhwach and Wandenreich seize the power of the Soul King, Ichigo and the Soul Society are fighting desperately to survive while trying to save the world beyond.
In the recent episodes, we witnessed Mayuri, the scientific genius, battling with the left hand of the Soul King in a challenging and fierce fight. Now, with a preview ahead of episode 37, there is much to discuss regarding the production process of the anime by Studio Pierrot, which is delving deeper into the fierce scenes of the ongoing battle against the Sternritter.
Regarding the current situation of the Soul Society, every moment seems to get worse for the Shinigami. Although Mayuri managed to defeat the left hand of the Soul King and Kyoraku faced off against the Quincy known as Lille Barro, these victories are merely a drop in the ocean compared to the immense power that Yhwach currently possesses. When the Quincy leader fully transforms into the new Soul King, he is capable of altering the very environment around him almost instantaneously.
Considering Yhwach’s formidable strength before he gains this new form, Ichigo and his allies are set to face a terrifying battle in the grand finale of Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War.
The Intensifying Blood Battle
Similar to the previous parts of Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War, the new images in the upcoming episode hint at the battles that lie ahead for the Shinigami. Studio Pierrot has also released an official synopsis for the upcoming third installment, titled “Shadows Gone”.
Note: “Lille Barro, the one thought to have fallen victim to Kyoraku Shunsui’s bankai, has transformed into an even more advanced and formidable entity, cornering Kyoraku to the very limit of his abilities, nearly overwhelming him. Ise Nanao rushes in and calls for help. Nanao urges Kyoraku to draw his Zanpakuto. What Kyoraku brings along with his haori will soon be revealed…”
The Conclusion of the Blood War is Approaching
There are only a few episodes left in the third part of the Blood War, but fortunately, Pierrot has confirmed that the third part is indeed the final segment of the series currently being aired. The conclusion of the battle against the Sternritter in the manga has marked the end of the Bleach series, before Kubo returns with a special one-shot focusing on the Soul Society many years later.
Since the release of Bleach: No Breaths From Hell, Tite Kubo has remained silent regarding the idea of creating a sequel, even though this one-shot certainly opens the door for that possibility.
Throughout Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War, Kubo has collaborated closely with Studio Pierrot in this major anime revival. It is possible that the production studio may work with the creator of Bleach again if they wish to continue the story of the Soul Society in the future.
