Audience “inspects” controversial details related to T1 – Gen.G in Arcane 2

Riot has many subtle hints in Arcane 2 but has sparked a new controversy related to Gen.G and T1.

A Small Detail Reminding Us of T1 and Gen.G in Arcane 2

After a period of airing, the series Arcane 2 has reached its final episodes. However, it can be said that for some viewers, the finale did not fully address the issues that the film had raised, and there may very well be at least Arcane 3 in the future. Nevertheless, Riot cleverly embedded some interesting elements, including a detail that reminds us of T1, Gen.G, and many other teams.

Arcane 2 concludes with many unresolved issues

In a scene from the final episode of Arcane 2, viewers see a gigantic clock. Instead of numbers, the clock displays the logos of teams that have won the World Championship throughout history, as well as the top teams in the world.

However, while teams like T1, Fnatic, and Damwon Gaming… (who have actually won the World Championship) are prominently featured, DRX is placed outside, with Gen.G’s logo next to T1’s.

An interesting Easter egg detail featuring logos of world-renowned teams and the inner circle of champion teams

Interestingly, DRX’s championship has been described as one of the most miraculous titles in League of Legends history. They were not highly regarded, yet they defeated a series of past champions, including T1’s formidable team in 2022, to claim the title. It is puzzling why Riot chose to “downplay” this team.

Fans Clash Over T1 and Gen.G’s Placement

Although Riot (perhaps) has acknowledged the two championships of Samsung Galaxy from years past as belonging to Gen.G today, the exclusion of DRX to the outside and placing them next to teams that have never won the World Championship has left many fans frustrated.

Moreover, T1 has established its identity as “the greatest team in League of Legends history” with 5 World Championship titles and 2 successful title defenses, yet they are ranked alongside teams like Fnatic and DWG, which has caused confusion among many fans.

Fans debating the placement of T1, Gen.G

However, it seems that there could be no other way, as the center of the clock features a detail related to the film rather than League of Legends in general. Therefore, having the logos of teams appear as Easter eggs makes more sense than being a key detail in the film.
