In his update, Togashi shared: “I am currently reviewing and adjusting the dialogue and timeline of the characters for the next 50 chapters of Hunter Hunter, which will be released in the future. Once I finish this work, I will continue with the project I am currently interrupted, focusing more on the script.”
However, despite the optimistic tone of the announcement, a recent report has confirmed that the manga remains officially on hiatus. After a brief return in October 2024, the manga once again faced an indefinite hiatus following the release of chapter 410 on December 8.
This situation is not new for fans of the series, as long breaks have become a common occurrence due to Togashi’s ongoing health issues, particularly severe back pain that has made it difficult for the creator to work continuously.
