1 Bomb Tactics: “Clone Master” Must Close Its Doors
The main point is the story of Miraibo GO. It is known that this game was launched on October 10 and quickly caused a stir in the international gaming community. The reason is that Miraibo GO is a survival game that opens up a new world, with gameplay and design feeling almost 100% similar to Palworld and Pokémon Go.
Recently, DREAMCUBE – the development unit of Miraibo GO, announced the closure of this game project on January 17, 2025. The reason provided is that the company has to adjust its development and operational strategy, but the main reason is due to a copyright dispute with Nintendo. This is an outcome that is not too surprising, especially since there has been previous material indicating that Miraibo GO “clones” were quite obvious.
No Surprises with the Closure of This Bomb Tactics Game
It’s easy to understand from the very first trailers that Miraibo GO showed a compelling resemblance to Palworld – another blockbuster released this January. Before that, Palworld had already been warned by Nintendo due to copyright infringement regarding the use of fictional creatures in gameplay, throwing bombs and engaging in combat.
While Palworld is still heavily involved in legal issues, Miraibo GO has unfortunately found itself in a similar situation. Clearly, the copyright dispute with a “big player” like Nintendo is not a simple matter. The cessation of operations is ultimately inevitable, and whatever happens will unfold.
Currently, the game has disabled the in-game purchase feature. For players who have purchased VIP packs but have not used them, the publisher will also support refunds in the near future. Miraibo GO officially closes on December 20, 2024, and will block access starting January 17, 2025.
