Recently, the Genshin Impact gaming community has been buzzing with excitement as miHoYo has revealed a plethora of new information. Specifically, during the livestream introducing version 5.3, miHoYo confirmed that they are preparing to launch many new characters in 2025.
One of the most anticipated names is Skirk. This character is a rare female character, recognized as “the most enigmatic woman living in the universe.” Skirk is known in the lore as Childe’s mentor, a mysterious assassin who is capable of surviving and moving freely in the Snezhnaya region. Undoubtedly, Skirk’s physique and strength are “not to be underestimated.”
First appearing in version 4.2, this character has left a strong impression even after 10 versions. Additionally, fans are eagerly awaiting Skirk’s debut more than any other main character. After all, the hidden power of this character is likely to reveal many secrets about Snezhnaya that the Traveler’s Guild has always sought.
According to the latest lore updates, Skirk is set to debut in version 5.7. She will be a 5-star character with a high rarity and will likely wield a claymore in line with her character’s design in the main story arc.
The Secrets of Version 6 of Genshin Impact
During the same livestream, miHoYo developers also introduced the region of Nod-Krai. This is a new land territory located in the southern part of the Snezhnaya region. This area is known for its extreme weather conditions and does not feature any significant landmarks outside of the Voynich area.
In the upcoming version 6.0, the Traveler will venture into Nod-Krai before officially “invading” Snezhnaya in version 7.0. However, the timeline for this “main event” is still quite distant.
