The official website of Solo Leveling has confirmed that Season 2 will premiere on Japanese television on January 4 at midnight.
Crunchyroll has yet to provide an exact release time, although the series is expected to be available on their streaming platform shortly after its broadcast on television.
Alongside the battle with Rakan, details have been revealed in the promotional material leading up to the premiere, showcasing significant battles and events that will unfold in Season 2, including Jinwoo’s battle in the Great Castle and the evaluation process he undergoes along with his fight against Karagalan.
The trailer also includes highlights from the encounter between Sung Il-Hwan and Jinwoo with Cha Hae-in during the Hunter Guild Gate arc, providing fans a glimpse into the major storylines that will be adapted from the webtoon in the second season.
The new trailer also features a snippet from the closing theme song of Season 2 titled “UN-APEX,” performed by TK from Ling tosite sigure, who is well-known for the iconic opening song “Unravel” from Tokyo Ghoul.
