The Game Awards 2024 has taken place, showcasing numerous notable highlights and captivating surprises for gamers around the globe. In addition to honoring the biggest and most outstanding titles of the year, one of the key attractions of the event was the introduction of trailers for many exciting new projects set to launch in the near future.

Set to launch in early access in 2025, Solastia 2 is a strategy-focused adventure game that emphasizes direct online gameplay.
The Witcher 4
Considered one of the biggest announcements at The Game Awards 2024, CD Projekt revealed a stunning cinematic trailer for The Witcher 4. The first impressions show a much more mature Ciri taking center stage in this installment, marking a shift from Geralt as the main protagonist, although Geralt’s voice can still be heard in the background.
Elden Ring: Nightreign
Elden Ring is back! The newly announced expansion, Nightreign, was unveiled at The Game Awards 2024, leaving everyone astonished. This time, players will experience a cooperative gameplay mode, complete with a unique story and, of course, a plethora of new bosses.
The Outer Worlds 2
With its quirky humor intact but improved gameplay mechanics, The Outer Worlds 2 promises to fix previous issues while not letting players down.
Split Fiction
Developed by the creators of the acclaimed It Takes Two, Split Fiction is a co-op game that enhances the gameplay experience with its vibrant art style and engaging mechanics.
Steel Hunters
The multiplayer game Steel Hunters, featuring a style reminiscent of Transformers, brings players into a world of giant robots battling it out.
Blackfrost: The Long Dark 2

After many years, the legendary beat ’em up series Double Dragon Revive is making its return, confirmed for release on October 23 next year.
Screamer
A racing game titled Screamer is expected to launch in 2026, with minimal information currently available about the project.
Dispatch
In this game, a hero (voiced by Aaron Paul) is tasked with coordinating various heroes for essential missions in a city, all while hoping to survive dangerous situations. This title follows the style of interactive storytelling, reminiscent of Telltale’s previous works.
Additionally, several noteworthy announcements were made, such as The Last of Us Part 2 coming to PC in March 2025 and a new trailer for The First Berserker. Moreover, Wuthering Waves is also set to appear on PlayStation in January next year.
