Koby was introduced in the first chapter of One Piece. He was captured by the pirate captain Alvida, where he was forced to work under her for two years. However, he always dreamed of becoming a Marine – a goal that he began to pursue after meeting Luffy.
In One Piece, Koby initially lacked courage and was afraid of death, but over time, he has grown significantly.
His character has undergone numerous changes and developments in both personality and appearance throughout the series. Two years have passed since the events at Marineford, and Koby is now a Captain and a member of the “SWORD” covert unit of the Marines. He has shown remarkable strength during a confrontation with the pirate captain Pizarro at Hachinosu, one of the notorious locations in the world of pirates. However, even 27 years after the manga began, there are still many secrets surrounding this young hero.
According to Artur – Ohara Library, we will soon learn about Koby’s origins. We only know that he was captured in the East Blue Sea, but it is uncertain whether he truly hails from there. The Vivre Card plays a significant role, serving as an essential source of information in the One Piece universe, documenting key events concerning notable characters.
These character cards are released in batches, with each card providing information about different characters. Besides the card detailing Koby, we will also see cards about Helmeppo, the prince Grus, and the Cross Guild, among others.
After the incident at Hachinosu, Koby and other SWORD members are currently in a meeting while listening to Vegapunk’s intel.
Koby’s next goal is to participate in the race for the One Piece treasure and help Luffy achieve his dream.
In the two pages of One Piece chapter 1121, we witnessed some of the most important characters in the Final Saga. The panels feature Koby alongside Luffy, Shanks, Akainu, and several other key figures.
