Dastmalchian has previously stated that he has been a fan of anime for a long time. He has also appeared in notable films such as The Dark Knight, The Suicide Squad, The Last Voyage of The Demeter, and the recent Dune movies.
One of Dastmalchian’s significant roles is the lead in Late Night With The Devil, which is considered one of the best horror films of the year. In this film, Dastmalchian plays a television host who must confront a supernatural entity during a late-night broadcast.

While watching the behind-the-scenes footage, One Piece fans spotted two images showcasing Monkey D. Luffy alongside Mr. 3, played by David Dastmalchian, in the live-action series. This gives us the first look at how a member of Baroque Works will appear when he dramatically emerges in the Grand Line in the live-action adaptation.
Interestingly, viewers could immediately see that the production team had recreated Mr. 3’s hairstyle in this footage, indicating they are striving to stay true to the original source material as much as possible.
