Overview of the Total Amount of Debt in the CKTG League
Recently, the drama surrounding the LPL transfer involving Scout and LNG – JDG remains unresolved. As of now, these teams have yet to officially announce their rosters for the upcoming season, despite the transfer drama intensifying. Today, Chinese media also revealed the staggering total amount of debt in the CKTG 2021 League.
According to reports, the total amount of debt that Scout is currently facing to resolve the complications before CKTG 2024 could have reached up to 21 million USD (~ more than 553 billion VND). Scout’s debts come from many sources, including management, agents, and brokerage firms… of this player to members of LNG.
Notable names in this context include GALA, Zika, WeiWei, Hang, JieJie. Even Zuo Wu (LNG’s former manager) and several other officials from the team are also on Scout’s list of “debtors.”
It can be said that Scout is currently the “master of ceremonies” of LPL. The 21 million USD debt, if converted to Chinese currency, exceeds 152 million CNY. And it’s likely that whoever takes Scout will have to “bear” this overwhelming burden.
The New CKTG Champion is the ‘Most Troubled’ Borrower
According to LPL sources, the “most troubled” person in this transfer saga is GALA. There is some information suggesting that if Scout manages to join LNG for CKTG 2024, GALA is the one who has lent the most. In fact, he might even consider putting up his house in Shanghai as collateral for the loan.
However, Scout’s agency has stated that the loan period should not exceed the repayment term. Furthermore, the agency firmly denies that the money has been given to LNG and in the event of a “one-time loan,” it must be returned. Thus, only when the contract signing concludes, GALA can possibly reclaim his house.
While there’s a risk of LNG losing, the situation with the debtors is still very tense, as they may be subject to penalties. Only GALA seems to be in the unfortunate position of being caught in the transfer drama between Scout and LNG.
