Recently, a TikTok account has surfaced that specializes in posting product advertisement videos under the guise of “suggestive” content, promoting immoral ideologies and degrading ethics, which greatly affects TikTok users in general. In these videos, the female creator shares inappropriate suggestions for men, using vulgar and unacceptable language.
Is TikTok Too Lenient on Content Moderation?
What’s alarming is that this series of videos has not been flagged by TikTok as violating community standards. They have been available for quite some time without any repercussions, and on the contrary, the account continues to garner a large number of views, currently boasting nearly 40,000 likes.
In the comments section, many users are expressing their outrage and calling for a boycott of such videos. Most opinions indicate that TikTokers are increasingly “losing control,” while the platform carelessly approves content that negatively impacts social norms and ethics.
